I. Electric Car Completely Without Power: What to Do
(1) Check if the battery output wires are open or unsoldered.
(2) Check the fuse holder for damage.
(3) Check the power lock for damage.
II. Electric Car Has Power but Doesn't Move: What to Do
(1) Check if the Chery Electric Car battery output is normal. If the output is too low, the battery is faulty and needs immediate replacement.
(2) Disconnect the brake cable. If the Electric Car rotates, the brake lever is faulty and needs replacement. Alternatively, use a multimeter to check the brake lever for continuity (for a standard closed brake lever).
(3) Check the throttle. Short-circuit the positive and signal wires of the throttle with a wire. If the vehicle rotates, the throttle is faulty and needs immediate replacement or repair. Turn on the power and rotate the throttle. Use a multimeter to check the positive and signal wires; a positive 5V 1-4V throttle is present.
(4) To check if the Chery Electric Car controller is working properly, short-circuit the positive 5V of the throttle cable. If the throttle rotates, the controller is fine. The simplest way is to smell the controller; if it smells burnt, the controller is faulty.
(5) To check the Chery Electric Car motor, loose carbon brush contact can also cause it to stop moving.
