When reversing, the owner can easily see the position of the rear wheels. However, this auxiliary device also has defects: First, distance distortion. The small round mirror is a convex mirror, which will inevitably lead to distance distortion. For example, the car behind you is only one or two meters away from your car, but it looks five or six meters away from the convex mirror, which can easily lead to misjudgment by the driver; second, there is a small dot on the surface of the rearview mirror, which affects the appearance.
1. Reasonable use of rearview mirror
Since the low obstacles on the side of the car body and the depressions on the ground need to be paid more attention to when reversing, the rearview mirror should be relied on more.
The co-pilot side rearview mirror is a convex mirror with a slight curvature. Its main use when reversing is to observe whether there are obstacles on the right side of the car body. When reversing, you can lower its angle appropriately to understand the road conditions on the right side more clearly.
The driver's side rearview mirror is a plane mirror. With its help, it is relatively convenient to judge the distance between the car body and the rear obstacles. It is also generally used to judge whether the car body is parked "straight".
2. Don't let the test trip you up
When you take the driver's license test, you need to reverse the car into the parking space from the road at right angles to the parking space, but in real life, such "reversing at right angles" is not suitable for the width of the roads and parking spaces in many parking lots. Therefore, we should use a more mature parking method: First, when the Chery Car approaches the parking space you want to park, slow down, first turn the steering wheel slightly towards the parking space you want to park, let the front of the car slightly enter the parking space, and then quickly turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction to move the front of the car away from the parking space. In this process, you need to make full use of the width of the road and try to make the car and the road form a relatively large angle. Until the front of the car approaches the edge of the available road surface, quickly turn the direction again to make the angle between the Chery Car and the road at least greater than 45 degrees, and finally rely on the rearview mirror to slowly reverse the car into the parking space.
