1. During the use and charging/discharging of Electric Car batteries, a phenomenon called "sulfation" can occur, affecting battery capacity. Sulfation refers to the gradual formation of hard lead sulfate crystals on the battery plates due to electrochemical reactions during use. This leads to a gradual reduction in the area of ​​the active plates and a decrease in acid concentration, resulting in a decrease in battery capacity.
2. Due to various factors such as Jidu Electric Car usage and manufacturing mismatches of batteries, voltage imbalances can occur between series-connected batteries. The battery capacity will be limited by the battery with the lowest voltage.
3. The charging voltage of Jidu Electric Car batteries differs between winter and summer. Without a suitable charger that can adjust to environmental voltage changes, overcharging in summer can cause battery water loss, eventually leading to battery bulging and deformation, or undercharging in winter can result in a decrease in driving range.
4. The decrease in battery capacity is due to increased internal resistance caused by oxidation (this is the main reason for the decrease in battery capacity).
