The piston is the core component inside the fuel engine. It completes the sealing of fuel gas together with the cylinder, piston, cylinder wall, etc. Common Petrol Car engines are diesel and Changan Car engines. Due to their different fuel performance, the pistons they use are also different. Therefore, when installing Petrol Car pistons, pay attention to the following issues:
2) The piston should be installed on the piston, and there must be a certain edge gap in the ring groove along the height direction.
3) The chrome plating should be installed in the first pass, and the opening should not face the vortex pit on the top of the piston.
4) The openings of each piston are staggered by 120°, and they are not allowed to face the piston pin hole.
5) For conical section pistons, the cone surface should be upward during installation.
6) When installing the torsion ring, the chamfer or groove should be upward.
7) When installing the combined ring, the axial bushing ring should be installed first, and then the flat ring and the corrugated ring. Two flat rings are installed on the upper side of the corrugated ring, and one flat ring is installed on the lower side. The openings should be staggered with each other.
However, with the advancement of technology, high-power steel piston rings were born, and with the continuous improvement of engine functions and environmental requirements, various advanced surface treatments were applied, such as spraying, electroplating, chrome plating, gas nitriding, physical deposition, surface coating, zinc-manganese phosphating treatment, etc., which greatly improved the function of the piston.
