Petrol Car water pump widely uses centrifugal water pump. Its basic structure consists of parts such as water pump housing, connecting plate or pulley, water pump shaft and bearing or shaft-connected bearing, water pump impeller and water seal device, which is the main component of Petrol Car.

The Petrol Car water pump drives the water pump bearing and impeller to rotate through the pulley. The coolant in the Petrol Car water pump is driven by the impeller to rotate together. Under the action of centrifugal force, it is thrown to the edge of the water pump housing, and a certain pressure is generated at the same time, and then flows out from the outlet or water pipe. The pressure at the center of the impeller is reduced due to the coolant being thrown out. The coolant in the water tank is sucked into the impeller through the water pipe under the pressure difference between the water pump inlet and the center of the impeller, realizing the reciprocating circulation of the coolant.
The bearing supporting the water pump shaft is lubricated with grease, so it is necessary to prevent the coolant from leaking into the grease to cause grease emulsification, and at the same time, prevent the grease from leaking. The sealing measures to prevent leakage of the water pump include water seals and gaskets. The dynamic seal ring of the water seal and the shaft are installed between the impeller and the bearing through interference fit, and the static seal seat of the water seal is tightly pressed on the housing of the water pump to achieve the purpose of sealing the coolant.
The housing of the Chery Car water pump is connected to the Petrol Car water pump through a sealing gasket and supports moving parts such as bearings. There is also a drain hole on the Petrol Car water pump housing, located between the water seal and the bearing. Once the coolant leaks through the water seal, it can leak out from the drain hole to prevent the coolant from entering the bearing cavity and destroying the bearing lubrication and causing corrosion of the parts. If the coolant still leaks after the Chery Car water pump stops, it means that the water seal is damaged.
