Brief Analysis of the Working Principle of Petrol Car Engine

The Petrol Car engine drives the bearing and impeller of the Petrol Car water pump to rotate through the pulley. The coolant in the Hongqi Car water pump is driven by the impeller to rotate together. Under the action of centrifugal force, it is thrown to the edge of the Petrol Car water pump housing, and a certain pressure is generated at the same time, and then it flows out from the outlet or water pipe.

The pressure at the center of the impeller is reduced due to the coolant being thrown out. The coolant in the water tank is sucked into the impeller through the water pipe under the pressure difference between the Petrol Car water pump inlet and the impeller center, realizing the reciprocating circulation of the coolant. The bearing supporting the Hongqi Car water pump shaft is lubricated with grease, so it is necessary to prevent the coolant from leaking into the grease to cause grease emulsification, and at the same time, it is also necessary to prevent the leakage of grease.
The sealing measures to prevent leakage of Petrol Car water pumps include water seals and gaskets. The dynamic seal ring of the water seal is installed between the impeller and the bearing through interference fit, and the static seal seat of the water seal is tightly pressed on the housing of the Hongqi Car water pump, so as to achieve the purpose of sealing the coolant. The Petrol Car water pump housing is connected to the Petrol Car engine through a sealing gasket and supports moving parts such as bearings.
There is also a drain hole on the Petrol Car water pump housing, which is located between the water seal and the bearing. Once the coolant leaks through the water seal, it can leak out from the drain hole to prevent the coolant from entering the bearing cavity and destroying the bearing lubrication and causing corrosion of the parts. If there is still coolant leakage after the Petrol Car engine stops, it means that the water seal has been damaged.
It is generally driven by the crankshaft of the Petrol Car engine through a V-belt. The transmission belt surrounds the crankshaft pulley and the water pump pulley of the Petrol Car micro water pump. When the crankshaft turns, the water pump shaft also runs, and the water pump shaft drives the impeller to rotate, thereby realizing the conversion of mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. The impeller is the core of the water pump. The movement of the impeller itself is very simple, just rotating with the shaft.
However, due to the action of the blades, the movement of the liquid in the impeller is very complicated; on the one hand, it moves with the rotation of the impeller, and on the other hand, it is constantly thrown out of the rotating impeller under the drive of the blades, that is, the relative movement of the impeller. Therefore, the outer diameter of the impeller, the height and angle of the impeller blades, and the gap with the pump casing directly affect the performance of the pump.
