Precautions for damage to Petrol Car engines

1. Engine oil of appropriate quality grade must be used, which is the key to ensuring the normal operation of Petrol Car engines.

2. Pay closer attention to substitute oil products for temporary use. If the oil supply is not timely or there is no suitable oil, you can temporarily use alternative oil. However, it is necessary to strengthen observation during use, pay attention to the oil quality and whether the oil filter is clogged, and stop the machine in time to deal with any problems found.
3. To choose an oil of appropriate viscosity, the oil of appropriate viscosity should be selected according to the local temperature. It is a mistake to think that higher viscosity is better. Because the viscosity is too high, the oil flows too slowly at the beginning, which can easily aggravate the wear of parts and even cause tile burning accidents.
4. When changing the oil, drain the waste oil to extend the service life of the Geely Car engine. When changing the engine oil, the old engine oil should be drained completely to avoid contaminating the newly added engine oil, causing the new engine oil to deteriorate rapidly and causing corrosion and wear of the Petrol Car engine. Under normal circumstances, drain the waste engine oil at high temperature, then add washing oil (85% of ordinary engine oil, 15% of gasoline), run at idle speed for 10 minutes after starting, drain, and finally add clean new engine oil.
5. Keep the crankcase well ventilated. The gases escaping from the combustion chamber into the crankcase are corrosive and will oxidize and deteriorate the oil, contaminating the gasoline engine. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the crankcase well ventilated.
6. Maintain normal oil level. When the amount of oil is insufficient, it will not only accelerate the deterioration of the oil, but also cause the burning of parts due to lack of oil; on the contrary, if there is too much oil, the oil will flow into the combustion chamber along the gap between the cylinder wall and the piston ring, resulting in the loss of gasoline. The car engine burns oil. In addition, the oil level is too high, which increases the stirring resistance of the oil, increases fuel consumption, and aggravates wear.
7. Maintain the oil filter regularly, check and maintain the oil filter regularly, and replace the filter element in time. Drivers should be aware of this.
8. Change the oil of any quality regularly or according to the quality. After a certain mileage, some physical and chemical indicators will change, causing harm to the Geely Car engine and causing trouble. Therefore, change the oil regularly according to the quality.
9. When using thickened engine oil, the oil pressure is slightly lower than that of ordinary engine oil of the same brand. Since thickened engine oil has good viscosity-temperature properties, the viscosity is higher at high temperatures and lower at low temperatures. The viscosity is slightly lower within the normal temperature range of Petrol Car engines, so it is normal for the pressure to be slightly lower.
10. When using year-round general-purpose engine oil or thickened engine oil in winter, it is not advisable to add ordinary engine oil to avoid affecting low-temperature startability; ordinary oil can be added gradually in spring or when changing to ordinary oil.
