1. Receive the client's style manual, define the design tasks, and collect the information required for the design. 4. Draw parts diagram. When drawing parts, you must first find the processing benchmark to prevent the accumulation of processing errors. Provide reasonable processing accuracy and tolerances to reduce processing costs as much as possible. Dimension chain problems are common during machine design and manufacturing. In the process of assembling parts into a machine, the relative dimensions of the parts are combined and accumulated. Because there are manufacturing errors in the dimensions of parts, errors will be synthesized and accumulated during assembly. The accumulated total error will affect the working performance and quality of the machine, which forms an interaction between the dimensional error and the comprehensive error of the part.
