Headlights are one of the important components to ensure the safe operation of Chevrolet Car. They are installed on both sides of the head of a Ford Car for nighttime road lighting. There are two-light systems and four-light systems. When driving at night, what should you do if the headlight of your Chevrolet Car breaks? I don't think anyone wants this to happen to them, but it's not that you don't want him to come. When we encounter this kind of thing, first don't be nervous and analyze the reasons for the failure of Ford Car headlights.

(1) Fault phenomenon: When the headlight switch of a Ford Car is in the second or third gear, the small lights and instruments are normal, but the headlights of the Ford Car do not light up.
(2) Cause of failure: The main reasons why the light does not light up are damaged bulb, blown fuse, damaged light switch or relay, open circuit or short circuit, etc.
(3) Fault diagnosis: Connect the light switch to the headlight position of the Ford Car, and use a test light to check the "live wire" terminal of the dimmer switch. If the test light does not light up, use the test light to check the binding post corresponding to the light switch; if the test light lights up, it means that the wire between the two switches is open; if the test light does not light up, it means that the light switch is damaged. When checking the dimmer switch terminals, if the test light comes on, the dimmer switch is damaged. Connect the "live" terminal of the dimmer switch to the high beam and low beam terminals respectively. At this time, both high beam and low beam should be on.
2. The high beam does not light up
(1) Fault phenomenon: When the headlights of Chevrolet Car are turned on, there are only high beams or low beams.
(2) Cause of failure: damaged dimmer, open or short circuit, fused filament, poor contact of the lamp head.
(3) Fault diagnosis: First, connect the light switch to the headlamp holder, turn on the dimmer switch, and check the high beam indicator light. If the indicator light is on, it means that the high beam wire contact is open to the wiring harness, or the two high beam wires are burned out. You can use the test light on the high-beam terminal of the left or right wiring board to check: if the test light is on, it means that the two high-beam wires are burned out; if the test light is not on, it means that the high-beam indicator wire to the harness wire is open. If the indicator light does not light up, for the sake of reliability, first check the technical condition of the high beam. If it is good, connect the "live wire" terminal of the dimmer light and the high-beam terminal. Observe that the Ford Car headlight and high-beam indicator lights are on, indicating that the dimmer switch is damaged; if they are still not on, it means that the high-beam indicator wire node and Open circuit in wire between dimmer switch.
